Vendor Ordering Guides
A supplier-issued guide explaining how to order parts from that vendor, including order types, cutoff times, and stock codes.
What it usually contains
- Order types and their lead times (stock, daily, emergency, drop-ship)
- Order cutoff times and delivery schedules by day of week
- Part numbering, superseded numbers, and package quantity rules
- Minimum order amounts, freight terms, and discount tiers
- Return, core charge, and warranty claim procedures
What the assistant uses it for
Answer questions about how and when to place an order with a given supplier, what discounts or freight rules apply, and how returns, cores, and backorders are handled.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system
Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
