Patient Education Handouts
Short printed or digital sheets that explain a condition, procedure, medication, or self-care instruction to patients in plain language.
What it usually contains
- Plain-language description of a condition or procedure
- Step-by-step home care and preparation instructions
- Warning signs and when to call the clinic
- Medication dosing, side effects, and diagrams or illustrations
- Contact details, follow-up appointment reminders, and translated versions
What the assistant uses it for
Use to answer what patients are told about a specific diagnosis, test prep, or discharge routine, and how that guidance is worded for a general reading level. Also useful for checking required disclaimers, review dates, and reading-level or translation standards for patient-facing materials.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system
Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
