Daily shift logs

A running record kept each shift by managers noting staffing, sales, problems, and anything the next shift needs to know.

What it usually contains

  • Who worked, call-outs, and late arrivals
  • Sales totals, covers, and busy periods
  • Equipment breakdowns and maintenance needs
  • Guest complaints, comps, and refunds
  • Notes and follow-ups for the next shift

What the assistant uses it for

Answering what happened on a given day or shift — why sales were off, when a cooler failed, which staff were short, or how a guest issue was handled. Also useful for spotting recurring problems across days and weeks.

How it is versioned

A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system

Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.

You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
