Opening and closing procedures
A step-by-step checklist of tasks staff must complete to open a restaurant for service and shut it down at the end of the day.
What it usually contains
- Timed task lists for opening and closing shifts by role or station
- Equipment startup and shutdown steps, including ovens, fryers, and refrigeration
- Cash drawer setup, till counts, and end-of-night deposit steps
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and food storage tasks before lock-up
- Alarm, lighting, door, and key handling procedures
- Sign-off lines for the manager or shift lead on duty
What the assistant uses it for
Use it to answer who does what before doors open and after last guest leaves, in what order, and which safety, cash, and security checks must be signed off. Helpful for training new staff and settling disputes about missed shift duties.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system
Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
